Program on Conflict and Development faculty and staff teach courses at TAMU such as “Economics of Foreign Intervention, Conflict and Development” and “Food Security, Climate and Conflict.” These classes focus on real-world applications and welcome guest speakers with pertinent backgrounds as well as Program on Conflict and Development researchers to visit and interact with students.

Internships

Program on Conflict and Development interns are challenged to go above and beyond what is expected of average students, and we have sent interns and recent graduates around the world to conduct research and gain international exposure. We also help place interns at USAID’s Headquarters in Washington, DC. Internships are advertised through our social media networks.

The Program supports research on educational topics as well as extension programs to educate the peacemakers of tomorrow.
